The Foundry started work in 1976, with Large castings, only. At that time available were 10 El. – induction furnaces with volumes 10 ton liquid metal , each. The production capacity reached was 60 000 ton/year. Later in 2003 the two Automatic Molding Lines “KUNKEL WAGNER” were purchased.
LOCATION
The Foundry is located on 440 000 square meters area, of which 130 000 sq. m. are covered area.
It is situated 7 km from town Ihtiman and 50 km south-east of Sofia, in vicinity of the International Motor road E 80 – Europa – Belgrade – Sofia – Plovdiv – Bourgas – Istanbul – Asia.

MILL FOR LARGE CASTINGS
Capacity – up to 25 000 ton / year (55 000 000 Lbs./ year)
Covered area – 22 400 m2.
MAX Weight of the castings – 25 000 kg/ piece ( 55 000 Lbs./ piece)
Single castings and serial manufacturing is done on two (2) technological lines, based on hand molding – FURAN.
Lifting Capacity of the cranes – 50 ton (110 000 Lbs.)
MILL FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM WEIGHT CASTINGS
Capacity – 11 000 ton / year ( 24 200 000 Lbs./ year).
Covered area – 28 600 m2
Weight of the castings – from 6 kg to 900 kg ( from 14 to 1 980 Lbs.).
Used for serial and mass production.
Lifting Capacity of the cranes – 20 ton (440 000 Lbs.).
